New Years Challenges!

What better way to start the new year than by coming up with 10 Resolutions for yourself and to draw/write them out? It helps you to not only practice your skills but can also help you get started on the path to successfully completing the Resolutions you come up with for yourself! I mean, most of us have come up with Resolutions ... but how often do we fail? We need determination and drive. What better way to symbolize it than to complete this challenge?

The Inclusion of MEMEs

Tue Dec 22, 2009, 11:34 AM by *EmeraldTokyo:iconEmeraldTokyo:
#100ThemeChallenge is now supporting all MEMEs. We decided that since MEMEs are basically miniature Challenges, and since they're vastly popular, we would allow for MEMEs to be submitted to the gallery too.

I've created a Gallery Folder for your Completed MEMEs and a Folder for Blank ones to be stored into. This way you can find some blanks ones easy and just get started. I've already placed my blank MEME Templates in there.

If you've already done any MEMEs, you can now start submitting them to the gallery.

Enjoy!

Luv,
Chrissy. :floating:

Stepping Up?

Sun Dec 20, 2009, 7:13 PM by *EmeraldTokyo:iconEmeraldTokyo:
Well, I'm back in the Founder Position.

:iconwolven-goddess: Is restricted on Internet time and cannot take on the heavy duties running the club. So, we swapped places again. LOL!

And, as much as I try NOT to get over worked I can't help myself. I don't seem to be happy unless I have my hands full with some project.

Besides. I have a whole ton of ideas for the group and I'd have an easier time committing to them from the top position.

So, I'm back completely.

Luv,
Chrissy.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge!

Congratulations to :iconfier-phoenix: for being the first to submit something for this new Challenge! She is our featured Challenger in the news article. :tighthug: So give her some props!

00 - My True Love

YAY! CELEBRATE! :boogie:  :boogie:

I've broken wide open from the Holiday Spirit! It came to me just now, a new Challenge for the group! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. :XD: I'm creating a New Gallery just for this Challenge!

If it's successful, we'll make this a yearly event!

It's actually going to be two small challenges, you can do either or both. This challenge is based on the song, the 12 Days of Christmas! Ooooh! What fun! Version two actually has 13 Themes, starting at 00 to keep the numbers right for the 12 gifts.

~*~*~*~*~*~ VERSION ONE: Days ~*~*~*~*~*~
:bulletred: 01) The 1st Day of Christmas.
:bulletgreen: 02) The 2nd Day of Christmas.
:bulletred: 03) The 3rd Day of Christmas.
:bulletgreen: 04) The 4th Day of Christmas.
:bulletred: 05) The 5th Day of Christmas.
:bulletgreen: 06) The 6th Day of Christmas.
:bulletred: 07) The 7th Day of Christmas.
:bulletgreen: 08) The 8th Day of Christmas.
:bulletred: 09) The 9th Day of Christmas.
:bulletgreen: 10) The 10th Day of Christmas.
:bulletred: 11) The 11th Day of Christmas.
:bulletgreen: 12) The 12th Day of Christmas.

~*~*~*~*~*~ VERSION TWO: Gifts ~*~*~*~*~*~
:bulletred: 00) My True Love.
:bulletgreen: 01) A Partridge in a Pear Tree.
:bulletred: 02) Two Turtle Doves.
:bulletgreen: 03) Three French Hens.
:bulletred: 04) Four Calling Birds.
:bulletgreen: 05) Five Golden Rings.
:bulletred: 06) Six Geese a-laying.
:bulletgreen: 07) Seven Swans a-swimming.
:bulletred: 08) Eight Maids a-milking.
:bulletgreen: 09) Nine Ladies dancing.
:bulletred: 10) Ten Lords a-leaping.
:bulletgreen: 11) Eleven Pipers piping
:bulletred: 12) Twelve Drummers drumming. (or 12 Fiddlers Fiddling)

AND! For the fun of it, to kinda get those creative juices flowing. Here's a joke on the 12 Days of Christmas Song. Of course now beware, it's got swearing and ahem, adult subject matter within. Read at your own risk. Of course, the order of the song gets a little mixed up in the end of the joke and finally ends with 12 Fiddlers fiddling rather than 12 Drummers Drumming, but hey? What can you do?

12 Days of Christmas Correspondence Where John sends Agnes all these lovely gifts. Yeah.

Have fun!

Luv,
Chrissy. :floating:
